Cameras have started rolling on the sequel to 1984’s This Is Spinal Tap.
The fittingly-named This Is Spinal Tap 2, which is being directed by Rob Reiner, is being filmed in New Orleans, according to Variety. The sequel is expected to chronicle the reunion of David St. Hubbins, Nigel Tufnel and Derek Smalls after a 15-year hiatus.
In addition to returning stars Michael McKean, Christopher Guest, and Harry Shearer, the film will feature cameos by the likes of Paul McCartney, Elton John, Garth Brooks, Questlove and Trisha Yearwood, according to Variety.
