What's worse than being on stage in Cincinnati and shouting "Hello Chicago!!!?" How about something that will become a COLLECTOR'S ITEM because of your location mistake?
When KISS brought their End of the Road Tour to Cincinnati this past Thursday, their city-specific commemorative shirts had "Cincinnati" spelled wrong, in HUGE LETTERS on the back, with two "T"s instead of one. Obviously a T-Shirt manufacturer error, but still...
The shirts were 50 bucks, but already they're becoming something of a collectible. Somebody's selling one of them on eBay with a starting bid of $400. And the minimum bid has already been met.
And to add insult to injury, KISS posted a "thank you" to their Cincinnati fans after the show that included a photo that was NOT taken at Riverbend Stadium, where they performed that night. Fans jumped all over that too. REALLY bad form… but at least they spelled Cincinnati right in their post.
