Florida Man Covered In Blood During Traffic Stop Admits To Killing Father

A routine traffic stop in Boca Raton, Florida, eventually led to the arrest of a man accused of murdering his father. Officers pulled over 26-year-old Jared Noiman on Monday (February 3) morning and found that he was covered in blood.

Noiman explained he was involved in an altercation with another individual but refused to elaborate and told the officers he did not want to report a crime.

At the same time, another team of officers responded to a report of a dead body in a parking garage. Upon arrival, they found the body of Jay Noiman. While they suspected that Jared was responsible for the murder, they did not have enough evidence to arrest him so they allowed him to leave.

Later that day, he was pulled over again and arrested for driving without a license. Investigators did not have probable cause to charge him with murder, and he was released without being charged.

The next day, Noiman's conscience got the best of him and he returned to the police station to confess to stabbing his father to death.

"Noiman said he wanted to confess to the murder of his father, Jay Noiman," Boca Raton police said in a statement. "He said the two lived together out of his father's vehicle, and they slept in the parking garage at One Ocean Plaza. Noiman said he did not like the way his father treated him, and he started having thoughts about killing him. Noiman continued his statement with a detailed description of how he stabbed his father and then strangled him while he was sleeping in the parking garage."

He was taken into custody and is facing a first-degree murder charge.
