Celine Dion payed tribute to her late husband, René Angélil, in an Instagram post on what would have been their 30th wedding anniversary.
The "My Heart Will Go On" songstress shared a photo from their wedding day, each passionately looking into each other's eyes aside a heartwarming caption.
"You still fill our hearts, every day. You are everything for us. We miss you so much. Happy 30th anniversary, mon amour!"
The post was signed by Dion and Angélil's children, 23-year-old René-Charles, and 14-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy.
According to People, Angèlil died of throat cancer on January 14, 2016, just two days shy of his 74th birthday. The photo depicts the pair on their special day in 1994, Dion in a beaded wedding gown with a matching veil and Angèlil consumed by her beauty.
Angélil, 26 years Dion's senior, met the "To Love You More" icon when she was just 12 years old, and went onto become her manager for seven years before they entered into a relationship. Dion, 19 when they first started dating, once told People that she preferred to keep their relationship private because she was afraid what people would think of their age gap, but eventually wanted to tell the world how much love she had for her longtime manager and partner.
"I was afraid of what people would think. When you're in love, you want to scream it to the world."
