A tragic incident unfolded on Monday (October 28) in Killingly, Connecticut, where a woman allegedly shot a man to death in front of a 12-year-old boy. Connecticut State Police have charged 65-year-old Michelle Yeagher with murder, along with other charges including carrying a dangerous weapon, risk of injury to a child, and first-degree reckless endangerment.

Authorities responded to a home on Pratt Road at approximately 9:31 p.m. to investigate reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found 39-year-old Andrew Michael Olson, of Canterbury, unresponsive with gunshot wounds. He was transported to Day Kimball Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to WFSB, Yeagher was found naked from the waist down and appeared intoxicated. She claimed that she shot Olson because he tried to kill her.

However, the young boy present at the scene told police he was watching Toy Story with Olson when Yeagher entered the room and shot him.

Yeagher was taken into custody and placed on a $1 million bond. She is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Danielson on December 11.
